8:45 AM Dr. David Engles will present the story of the survival of his mother, Ruth Leimonzon Engles, during the Holocaust. David will present the story by reading excerpts from the diary that Ruth wrote while hiding in the barn.The Yiddish diary was published in 1972 with the title "Written In A Barn" .
David's English translation was published by Yad Vashem in 2023.
