Anshei Emuna welcomes families and their children to attend Shabbat, holidays and daily services through the year. Children of all ages are welcome to participate as in authentic Jewish law and tradition we help them learn to love synagogue, Jewish rituals, and customs. Our synagogue offers a unique and wonderful opportunity to fill young children with warm feelings about their relationship to the synagogue and their elders.
Children can experience Shabbat as a family and learn to be part of their Jewish community, growing up remembering the prayers they hear in the synagogue while being part of the service and not just from the sidelines or the playroom. In Anshei Emuna children feel that a synagogue is a place where they are welcome and where they are the delight and happiness of their grandparents and of their friends.
Children can experience sharing Jewish laws and traditions with Holocaust survivors, learning from them and make memories as Jewish people with the hope they can pass these traditions onto the next generation. Our children are honored in a traditional service setting, and we welcome the sounds of laughter, running, and tears from little ones during services.
Activities as challah baking, Purim parties, holidays special services, Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation and celebrations are some of the highlights young Anshei Emuna members can enjoy. Anshei Emuna offers a kid-friendly environment with toys, games and a playroom. The rabbi and shul members are always happy to see the kids enthusiasm, wonder, and love of Shabbat, the holidays and Judaism.
